Fragments per una pel·lícula futura – Centre Cívic Guinardó

Wednesday, April 2 and April 9, at 6:30 pm

Temporary – Barcelona Cultural District

This proposal is inspired by the film Recife Frio (2009) by the Brazilian filmmaker Kleber Mendonça Filho and reflects on what would happen if the city of Barcelona experienced a sudden and permanent change at its temperature, becoming extremely cold. Through exercises of collective imagination, we will explore how this climate change could affect everyday aspects such as habits, the use of public space, ecology, work, fashion, tourism or health, among others. The aim is to build a shared and critical view of possible future in a context of extreme climate change.
