Figures and letters of Coòpolis to close in 2025

With the arrival of December and the end of the year it becomes essential for cooperative projects review and evaluate the results obtained over the last twelve months. Often these figures, which are framed in a very specific time period, they are the reflection not only of twelve monthsbut of the work done over the last few years. This reading is important to keep in mind, as it is an important factor in understanding the results and giving them meaning.

At Coòplis, closures are always prolonged, because we are many entities reviewing, sharing and evaluating results, challenges and incidents. Although the full report will be presented in 2026, we close December by making one review of figures and challenges achieved.

this year more than 5000 people have taken part in the activities of the Ateneo: in particular we had 5080 participants throughout this 2025. The support team has accompanied 172 projects that were immersed in different phases of its development: planning, consolidation, incorporation of various perspectives… In total 8 new cooperatives have been established which at the same time, has assumed the creation of 90 new jobs. During this year we have carried out 153 formations i 103 awareness activities in addition to the 42 activities that have been done with young people.

But Coòpolis doesn’t just count the numbers. this year we also achieved internal goals that are allowing us to move towards where we want to go in the way we want to do it. In the internal field, this 2025 we have finished and approved our violence prevention and attention protocoland we also approved one new labor agreement for the technical team. We have also been working on Coòpolis strategic plan that we presented publicly at an event at Bloc4Bcn in which we were joined by several entities in the sector, as well as the Director General, David Bonvehí. We also had the opportunity to establish and strengthen alliances with Basque and Valencian cooperativesin inter-cooperation days that, among other things, served to share experiences, needs to establish mechanisms of collaboration and mutual support.

Coòpolis continues to be a pot in which to cook countless proposals and events, such as the Migrant and Diverse Economy Fairthe Cooperative Energy Weekthe Seminars Utopically and the consolidation of punits of Attention to Cooperative Housing and Migrations.

All these actions push us to what is ours shared horizonwhich is generate spaces and opportunities to live in a dignified way in the city of Barcelona. Under the motto, ‘A city to be lived in’we presented the campaign that will also accompany us in the coming months to publicize all the services that Coòpolis can offer to citizens for move towards a socially just and environmentally sustainable transformation.
