Faberllull starts the year with a residency for writers of television series in Catalan – Actualitat Detail


The first stay of 2026 at the Faberllull Residence is starred by fifteen screenwriters chosen by the Serielizados festival, who work on episodes of short TV series in Catalan, less than 30 minutes long. Until Sunday, February 8, they will have quality time to focus on writing the first episode of the series and will be mentored by experienced writers who will advise them in the process.

They have come as far as Faberllull Daniel Belenguer (Barcelona) i Bianca France (Peru), who write the script ofUsuchampion; Alex Martínez Vidal (Barcelona) i Andrew Rami (Barcelona), who work on the series Many possibilities; Pau Bacardit (Barcelona) i Anna Bacardit (Barcelona), who develop the project We are not warriors; Jana Jubert (Vilafranca del Penedès) i Indigo Carbajal (Barcelona), who write the chapters of Girls No; Núria Torres (Barcelona) i Anaïs Schaaff (Barcelona), who create the history of The mother who gave birth to me; Andrei Simkin (Russia) and Alexander L. Arias (Seville), who imagine the series rebel flock; Sara da Pena (Barcelona), who writes the script for smoke; Pep Molina (Palma) that works on the argument of Neocurros; i Eric Marcet (Barcelona), which focuses on the project Almost Benidorm.

Most of the time is devoted to writing the chapters of the series. Even so, the program includes other activities related to your stay. Today, Tuesday, they met with Guillem Clua, John Yago, Eva Dies, Albert Plans, Albert Val, Carlo Padial, Gemma Pascual, Claudia Costafreda i Joaquim Oristrell. Each of them has mentored one of the projects and given them guidelines and ideas on how to improve the content.

Friday and Saturday, the screenwriter and consultant Katrin Merkel (Germany) will offer them a group workshop entitled Plotting with beats.

The residence will also offer a return activity. On Thursday, Pau and Anna Bacardit will talk about their creative process in a talk to high school students at the Institut Bosc de la Coma d’Olot.
