This exhibition is born from a historical and didactic research that wants to emphasize the role of women in our history through images and short texts. The exhibition brings together a set of female figures who, despite having been partially selected from among hundreds of possible names, share a significant relevance in the territories that today make up Catalonia, the Valencian Country and the Balearic Islands, from Prehistory to the middle of the 20th century. The exhibition is part of a wider project promoted by researchers from the universities of Valencia and Barcelona, ​​which has given rise to teaching materials, workshops and publications. Among these, the book Dones de la nostra história stands out. 55 images to recreate and understand the past, with text by Paula Jardón and iconography by Francesc Xavier Hernàndez, published by Angle Editorial.
