Inspired by the theory of the philosopher Diana Coole, who defends that matter “has a life of its own” and shapes our world, and in the heritage of the designer and activist William Morris, reverent with nature, integral to materials and critical of mass industrialization, this exhibition proposes a new relationship with the material: not as passive, but as vital collaborator. The artists and artisans who participate imagine matter not only as a support, but as a agent that vibrates, acts and transforms.
