exhibition "Tere Vila Matas The brush dance"

A pioneering artist with a personal background and creative freedom, Tere Vila Matas integrates her plastic creation, with Western roots, with aesthetic and philosophical concepts specific to Eastern culture. The technique he uses is based on the use of rice paper and Chinese ink, ancient materials that require great skill and sensitivity. Each brushstroke is a controlled dance that reflects the concentration and discipline acquired over years of study. At the exhibition, you can see around twenty works – including natural figures, landscapes and calligraphy – made throughout the decade of the eighties, nineties and 2000, which evidence the artist’s plastic research, at the same time, offer an intimate look at his creative universe. You can consult more information about the exhibition “Tere Vila Matas. The dance of the brush” on the website of the Felícia Fuster Foundation. Last update: 05/11/2025
