exhibition "Poetics of Follia"
“Poetics of Madness” addresses the complexity of neurodiversity and madness from an aesthetic and critical perspective. Multiple participatory dynamics and artistic installations by the artists María Ruido, Claudia Ventola, Natalia Lazaro Prevost and Julia Montilla raise questions about the forms of representation and expression of mental disorders. Through the works that make up the exhibition, we will delve into the concepts, stories and experiences that revolve around the poetics of madness. We will explore the critical, literary and artistic references that have shaped these practices of resistance. We will reflect on the various forms of representation, expression and display of madness that break the stigmas and dictates of “normality”. We will thus imagine, together, how to inhabit and transit madness in other ways.
