We live in a world where imaginaries about the future are hijacked, reduced to crisis scenarios. We accept collapse as the certain horizon of our imminent future, while at the same time it is slipping away from our grasp. We are orphans of the future. If nostalgia is a pathology that idealizes the past in the face of the chaos of the present, the works exhibited in this exhibition invite us to inhabit nostalgia as a reflective and non-linear temporality from which to yearn for a life and a future, in all its multiplicities and differences.
