Exhibition “Collective Construction of the City”

Barcelona’s Sant Antoni Market will host the opening of the exhibition next Saturday, June 27Collective Construction of the City”an initiative that focuses on the role of citizens in the creation of more inclusive, fair and sustainable cities.

The exhibition brings together national and international experiences that show how collaboration between communities, social organizations and public administrations can contribute to guaranteeing the right to a decent habitat. Through different participatory projects and processes, the exhibition invites reflection on new ways of designing, managing and transforming urban environments from a social perspective.

For ASF, the collective construction of the city goes beyond technical and urban planning. It is a process in which citizens actively participate in the definition of the spaces they inhabit, strengthening the community fabric and promoting more democratic and equitable urban models.
