La Pedrera hosts “Cristina Iglesias. Passages”, the first major monographic exhibition in Barcelona of one of the most outstanding artists of contemporary sculpture. The exhibition brings together nearly forty works, created between 2002 and the present day, and offers an immersive tour that unfolds as a sequence of movements through the fluid spaces of Gaudí’s architecture and the closed and open volumes of the sculptural universe of Iglesias. Beyond an exhibition, “Passages” is a single work in itself: a unique opportunity to delve into the vital and artistic imagination of a creator who has been able to fuse nature, architecture and sculpture like no one else.
