Exhibition “Centenary Club: CE Jupiter”


Throughout its history, the city of Barcelona has seen the birth of a large number of sports clubs, arising from the beginnings of regulated sport as a recreational and competitive activity. Many of these entities, still active, play a key role in promoting grassroots sport.

In recognition of his valuable contribution, the Barcelona Olympic Foundation wants to highlight and value the work of these entities, which make it possible for sport to be an essential part of life in our city.

The exhibition is dedicated tothe Jupiter Sports Club. Considered one of the historic clubs of Barcelona and Catalan football. The Jupiter Sports Center was founded on May 12, 1909 during a meeting held at the emblematic Cerveseria Cebrián, today known as Orxateria El Tío Ché, located on the Rambla del Poblenou.
