We all have at home some traveling souvenir. Or more than one. Or an entire collection. We know that they are objects that directly represent the capitalist logic of tourism. But we still buy it on each trip and keep them in the shelves of our rooms.

We built an imaginary that mythifies tourist destinations and transforms them into artificial products Where to escape the reality of our day to day, without thinking that people who are living in this reality are inhabited in that space we want to flee. As tourists we believe that the trip will satisfy a desire or a need, but it really only responds to an inertia that the system has created to make more money, with the risk of harm the living conditions of the people who live there.

This dramatized reading, conceived as a hybrid between an installation and a theatrical performanceaims to reflect on the tension between the destructive consequences of tourism and the need to travel.
