Display "Wow"

Since ancient times, the desire to discover the richness of the planet’s life and to disseminate it have caused the naturalists to represent the fauna of each place through descriptions and drawings. Gradually and thanks to the evolution of taxidermia, the large collections of natural history museums have been built. These pieces are a very good resource for education, dissemination, conservation and research. New materials and technical advances add to the artistic component needed to achieve the expressiveness and movement of good naturalizations. The exhibition, in collaboration with the Park of the Sciences of Granada, presents the key work of the taxidermist and sculptor Antonio Pérez, an international benchmark in this discipline. Six naturalized scenes are presented with Mediterranean and African animals that recreate natural behaviors. Among others, you will discover a group of fifteen wild goats jumping in stampede, two fighting zebras or a lioness hunting nyus.
