Display "About the landscape"
This exhibition goes through the more than 20 years of the trajectory of the photographer José Guerrero to date from the wide set of his work. For twenty years, the work of José Guerrero (Granada, 1979) has been exploring the landscape as an active entity and with an alive and dynamic identity where cultures and the willingness of the collective imagination are interspersed. For José Guerrero, as for many artists of his generation, photographing a territory, a landscape or a place means not only to represent it, but also to evoke proximity relationships, alterations, solidarity and tensions inscribed in them, thus banishing the notion of landscape as something non-artificial and outside to us. The route is organized on a narrative itinerary marked by different conducting threads, between series and themes, which fold and unfold non -stop: from representation to experimentation, from light to darkness, from transparency to opacity, from the document to abstraction.
