The Sunday, March 8, at 12 pm, on the occasion of 8M, the civic center hosted the musical duet Silly Symphony. A recital in which we were invited to delve into the female gaze of the seventh art.
Eugènia Arús (pianist) and Loida Baró (singer) highlighted the role of women in the world of cinema, highlighting composers of soundtracks, lyricists, screenwriters, directors, characters and iconic voices who have left their mark on history. All of them were the protagonists of this concert, framed within the events for 8M, international working women’s day.
With sensitivity, musicality and lyrics adapted to Catalan by the performers themselves, this recital was a tribute to female creativity, strength and inspiration.
