Publications La Brossa It is a literary and artistic publishing label that seeks to bring together artistic and poetic proposals that are playful and work from the indiscipline. It is an initiative that gives voice to creators who, consciously or not, practice the same freedom that in Brossa allowed him to transcend the literary fact to question all the limits of poetic creation. The publications offered are limited, careful and very exceptional editions and the projects that are published are artistic proposals that have been gestured within the junk with other formats or through cross -cutting projects linked directly to the artists and our programming.

In this context, we are excited to present Debacle Cathedral, 78 letters from the Tarot painted by Aldo Urbano. This project has been linked to the junk since it was a finalist in one of the calls Post -stop. The jury of that edition, during the deliberation, emphasized the quality of the project and made the valuable idea of its appearance as a publication. Debacle Cathedral, therefore, proposes the creation of a game of cards of the tarot adapted to the pictorial imaginary of Urbano. The title responds to the notion of “ Cathedral ” as if it were a portable cathedral concealed under the appearance of a game of cards and “ debacle ” brings to the chaotic nuance that adds this version of the tarot all personal and collective falls so typical of our time. The result is unstable images: of crisis and ecstasy of both poetic and melancholy. The Tarot, then, ends up being a symbolic apparatus that provides the artist to the tools to articulate the fears, successes and failures that are interested in capturing in these paintings that have become collectible letters.
