
CONVOCATÒRIA STRIPART 2026 | ARTS VISUALS, ARTS ESCÈNIQUES I MÚSICA – Centre Cívic Guinardó

From June 26 to July 17, 2026the Center Cívic Guinardó will be the setting for the 30th edition of Stripart, a festival dedicated to emerging art. This event explores different forms of artistic expression, combining them in an innovative way through a multidisciplinary proposal. Stripart stands out for its firm commitment to supporting new artistic voices, offering them total creative freedom. In addition, the festival challenges the traditional norms of established artistic circuits, breaking with the conventional logic of curatorship and promoting a space open to diversity and experimentation.
the goal main purpose of the festival is to provide a platform for young artists, allowing the visibility and production of their projects. In addition, it seeks to promote spaces for dialogue and exchange of knowledge.
1. Who is it addressed to?
To all those emerging artists who have a completed project and want to exhibit it at an art festival.
To young artists who want to expand their professional network and come into contact with professional exhibition spaces.
2. Participant requirements:
All those artists who turn 35 years of age or older during the year 2026 will be able to participate individually or collectively (it will be necessary to present a photocopy of the DNI or NIE of all participants).
Anyone of any nationality can participate.
The participants may present a maximum of two projects both individually and collectively.
3. Requirements for artistic projects:
The projects presented must be completed or in the finalization phase.
4. Selection criteria:
The projects selected to be presented at the Festival will be chosen by the Guinardó Civic Center technical team based on the following criteria:
– Innovation and originality in the work presented.
– Demonstrated artistic and technical quality.
– Conceptual coherence and thematic cohesion of the works.
– Contribution to dialogue and debate in the current artistic field.
– Adaptation to current issues.
– Diversity and equitable representation of different perspectives and experiences.
5. How to register?
Registration will be formalized in an online meeting with the festival’s technical team. To request an appointment for this meeting, you must fill out a form on the website (stripart.cat).
The deadline for requesting an appointment to register will be from February 16 to March 15, 2026. We will then contact you to agree on the date and time of the meeting.
**Once the time for the registration meeting has been requested, we will send you an email asking you to send us the following documentation:
– Project file.
– Artistic curriculum.
– Copy of ID or passport.
– Short publishable text of a maximum of 150 words, with the conceptual description of the work presented in editable text format.
– Representative image of the proposal in JPG format with a minimum resolution of 300px.
– In case of presenting a scenic, musical or audiovisual work, you must also present a video or an audio of the work.
6. The organization will communicate the selected proposals before May 16, 2026.
7. Training opportunities and professional support for participants
Participation in the festival includes free access to the trainings organized by the event itself. These training sessions, valued at approximately €100, represent a unique opportunity for growth and learning within the framework of the festival.
In addition, all participants will be able to be part of the orientation tables led by professionals that will take place in the month of September. The aim of these spaces is to offer, through expert guidance and exchange with the other participants, tools to improve and grow their artistic projects.
8. Awards
The exhibition, sample or presentation of the projects will not be remunerated. However, from the Stripart Festival we work to ensure that the projects presented have continuity in other art spaces:
Performing arts residency at the Guinardó Civic Center
The technical team of the Old Theater will select a participating performing arts company to develop a creative residency at the Guinardó Civic Center during the 2026/2027 academic year with the aim of presenting a new work at the Civic Center itself. This company will have €200 in support for the creation.
Individual exhibition at the Guinardó Civic Center
A jury will select two participating artists to develop an exhibition project in the exhibition hall of the Civic Center Guinardó, during the year 2027. These selected will have €200 in support for the creation and the support of curators to design the exhibition.
Residence in the indoor creation space
The undercover technical team will select one person from those who have presented their project at the Stripart Festival to develop a one-week stay. During this residency, the creation process will be accompanied by professional advice.
The sheltered residences aim to offer a space and suitable conditions for the development of artistic or research projects, as well as to function as a support, advice and dissemination platform for female artists.
Stay at Casa d’Artistes
A visual artist will be selected to participate in a residency at the Casa d’Artistes (Es Mercadal, Menorca). The stay will be a minimum of 15 days and a maximum of 20, between November and December 2026. The organization will cover the stay (single room, kitchen, bathroom and shared work spaces) and the trip to Menorca from Barcelona or any of the Balearic Islands.
In order to be eligible for the residency, it is requested that the artist be available to do the residency in person and that they have a project in progress that is viable to develop in a rural context, with the aim of making the most of the space, environment, time and resources of the creation center to advance this work. In addition, the artist will have to participate in an activity to open the process to the citizens of the host island.
Can Felipa
Can Felipa will select artists for the Stripart 2026 edition, distributed in three modalities: Visual artist: He will hold an exhibition in the Small Format Space of the civic center with a financial endowment of €200.
Artist or performing arts company: Will develop a stage project in residence with support for the creation of €500.
Two artists (one visual and one performing arts, who can be the ones chosen in the previous mode): They will collaborate together in a mediation project with IES Quatre Cantons, each with a financial endowment of €400.
Exhibition at the Espai Jove Bocanord
The Espai Jove Bocanord will choose one of the artists participating in the festival to lead an individual exhibition in its space, which will have a financial aid of €150.
Exhibition at the Espai Jove Palau Alòs
The Espai Jove Palau Alòs will choose a visual artist who will participate in the festival with a project of feminist roots, to develop an individual exhibition during the month of November in its room, which will have professional accompaniment and advice, and a financial endowment of €200 net in terms of production and fees.
Participation in the Choreoscope Festival
The International Dance Film Festival, Choreoscope, assumes its commitment as a platform for the visibility of young creators, selecting and remunerating live choreographic pieces, to add them to its programming during the festival’s screenings.
9. The organization reserves the right to resolve, as it deems most appropriate, any situation not provided for in these rules.
10. The organization reserves the right to use the material chosen for the relevant dissemination (media, web, social networks…)
11. Registration for the festival implies acceptance of these rules.
