Concert for 7 sculptures and 7 musicians | Activity
More than 40 large-scale sculptures representing aquatic, terrestrial and aerial creatures, hybrid and eccentric, that do not exist in the real world are the protagonists of this installation that unfolds in the atrium, one of the most emblematic spaces of the MACBA.
where Saturday, January 11we have organized a very special event to bid farewell to the exhibition Petrit Halilaj & Álvaro Urbano. Lunar Ensemble for Uprising Seas. Seven local musicians and artists will come together to perform a piece that blends the children’s melody “Ay, mi pescadito” with underwater sounds, creating a truly unique sonic atmosphere. The challenging synchronization of these two melodies will serve as the centerpiece of the performance, generating an underwater sound echo that engages in a dialogue with the museum’s environment.
Join us for one of the three sessions we’ve organized, and together, let’s imagine new forms of life.
