Catalan Baroque Orchestra concert

The first concert The madness · The genius (April 26, 7 p.m.), offers a tour through the world of concerto grosso and concerto for soloist and orchestra. With music by Stradella, Scarlatti, Vivaldi, Leo, Geminiani and Telemann, the program highlights the dialogue between a small group of soloists and the orchestral ensemble, one of the most characteristic features of instrumental baroque.

They participate Tiam Goudarzi (flute), Guadalupe of the Moral (violin), Emmanuel Balssa (viola da gamba and cello) i Manfredo Kraemer (violin and conducting), musicians specializing in historical interpretation with a consolidated track record in the baroque repertoire.
