Blood Quartet & Dongyang Gozupa Tour: Terra Ignota
Blood Quartet (Barcelona) and Dongyang Gozupa (Seoul) come together in format of septet to present Unknown Landa musical project that transcends borders and genres and that can be seen live during the month of March on a tour through different stages of Catalonia.
The project is born in 2024, after its presentation in the Live Music Market of Vic and in the BAMafter an artistic residency in Fabra i Coats: Creation Factory. For this tour, the group presents his new album Unknown Landpublished in October 2025 by the Foehn Records label.
Unknown Land proposes a sound universe close to science fiction, where the Korean musical tradition dialogue with the sound experimentationthe alternative rockthe free jazzthe electronics and them ambient atmospheres. The work combines traditional instruments such as the yanggeum (Korean dulcem) with Mark Cunningham’s dreamlike trumpet and the cinematic narrative of Blood Quartet.
Improvisation and the search for a transcendence beyond cultural origins are the engine of this musical and visual co-creation, which unfolds as a sensory experience with a careful combination of electronics, analog instrumentation and visual scenography.
The tour is co-produced by Fabra i Coats: Creation Factorythe Live Music Market of Vic y K-arts on the GO (Korea), and includes concerts, artistic residencies and training activities.
