
Bases convocatòria 2026/27 Mirada pilot – Centre Cívic Guinardó
Facilities participating in the project: Barceloneta Civic Centre, Guinardó Civic Centre, Espai Jove Boca Nord, Matas i Ramis Civic Center and Sant Andreu Civic Centre.
Introduction and objectives
The open call for emerging curatorial projects from the network that makes up “Mirada Pilot” acts as a support platform for young curators to start on their artistic path.
The aim of this 2026 call is: To make an emerging exhibition curatorial proposal, composed of 3 itineraries and 3 parallel activities, with the support of a budget allocation.
Who is it for?
Young curators and cultural managers who turn, at most, 35 during the year 2026 will be able to participate in this call individually or collectively.

The selected project will have to generate a curatorial discourse selecting exclusively 4 participating artists in the edition of the Stripart Festival 2026 at the Center Cívic Guinardó from June 26 to July 17 (you can also consult the catalog on the web www.stripart.cat).
There will be an exhibition with 3 itineraries in centers of the network (Centre Cívic Barceloneta, Espai Jove Boca Nord and Center Cívic Matas i Ramis), as well as 4 complementary activities (Centre Cívic Barceloneta, Espai Jove Boca Nord, Center Cívic Matas i Ramis and Center Cívic Sant Andreu).
The selected project will be supported by the network’s technical team.
The financial support for the production and fees will be €1150, (taxable basis) distributed as follows:
400 € fees to curator or selected group
€400 artists’ fees (€100 for each participant)
€250 support for the production of activities.
€100 graphic production exhibitions (signs, posters, etc.)
Mirada Pilot will not be responsible for the expenses derived from the diets or travel necessary to carry out the activities, the assembly and design of the exhibitions that will be held in the city of Barcelona.
Selection criteria
The person or group interested must present a project based on the proposals of Stripart 2026 (http://stripart.cat/) where skills in generating a creative and coherent discourse will be positively valued.
Only one project per commissioner will be considered.

The project must be submitted using a pdf file (less than 3MB) to the email address miradapilot@gmail.com with the code MIRPIL as the subject of the message, providing the following material:
– Professional curriculum vitae and statement
– Expository proposal
– Proposal of complementary activities
– If more information is deemed necessary, it will be added in a section of Annexes at the end of the dossier.

Selection committee
The selection of the project will be done by a committee made up of:
- Jaime Relimpio and Martina Vilella, Mirada Pilot 2025 curators
- Diana Padrón, curator Sant Andreu Contemporani
- Pilar Cruz, curator, art critic and cultural manager.

The jury will select three finalist projects, and the winning project will be chosen after a personal interview with the Mirada Pilot team.
Relevant dates of the call
open from June 26 to September 30, 2026. The result will be announced from October 31, 2026, through the websites and social networks of the different facilities.
The selected project will be exhibited during the months of:
-From February 4 to 26 at the Barceloneta Civic Center.
-From March 4 to March 24 at the Espai Jove Boca Nord.
-From April 1 to April 30 at the Matas i Ramis Civic Center.
