Gonzalo Marcuzzi Iglesias (Buenos Aires, 1972), is a video creator, producer, director and audiovisual editor (radio, TV and shows) since 1998. He creates and directs DocuMentalidades in 1997, a TV program and then, until today, the name under which he signs all the content as author and the audiovisual language and training workshops he has been teaching for more than 20 years. He has lived in Barcelona since 2004 and continues to make documentary, experimental pieces, video clips and commercials, of a social nature and in an independent and non-institutional way.
In this session we will present his latest creation THE 7 CAPITAL SINS: 24 YEARS OF SHIT AND BEAUTIFUL LIVESa documentary essay in collage form made from mini dv and digital tape archives dating from 2000 to 2024. As he defines it: documentary despair, private and general miseries in the midst of current global collapse.
