Synopsis:
After receiving the news that the sex of their baby cannot be determined due to a disorder of sexual development, María and Nico plunge into uncertainty. He advocates following the medical protocol and surgically assigning a sex to her baby, while she embarks on a journey of research and self-discovery. As María learns more about intersexuality, she begins to consider the possibility of her baby growing up with her body as it is. Facing the most difficult decision of their lives, the couple questions their ideas about gender and identity, while opening their eyes to a new world for them: intersexuality.
