This traveling exhibition collects the results of the project’s school workshops Building in Room 2026. A living and growing exhibition that presents models, drawings and children’s reflections on the elements that build the city.

The traveling exhibition Building in the Hall – accompanies the development of the educational program throughout the year 2026. As the workshops are held in the schools of the different districts, the exhibition expands and transforms, incorporating new materials and views.

The exhibition presents the models, plans, drawings and stories created by the children around the ten elements that define the city: housing, public space, supplies, health, education, sport, nature, culture, markets and historical memory. Each contribution reflects a particular way of understanding and imagining Barcelona from childhood experience.

The exhibition emphasizes the process, rather than the end result, and invites the public to observe how the city is built collectively from multiple voices. Like a living city, the exhibition is constantly evolving, reinforcing the idea of ​​children’s participation as a tool for urban reflection.
