I count my every step on earth
I count my every step on earth it is the happy and exceptional confluence of three singular talents: the Badalona playwright Lluïsa Cunillé, National Theater Award; the actor Oriol Genís, also from Badalona; and the direction of Xavier Albertí. An exquisite stage recipe, created in Badalona, at the Margarida Xirgu Theatre, which now arrives on the city’s stages after having captivated audiences and very diverse sensibilities.
Cooked at home and with an unmistakable Badaloní stamp, the piece opens the doors to the inner world of a kiosk the night before undergoing a delicate heart operation. Through his confessions, the shadows, memories and emotions of a seemingly ordinary life emerge that reveal themselves to be profoundly human.
An intimate, emotional and high-flying interpretative show that claims the talent of proximity and the strength of the stories that are born very close to us.
