During the last few months, the artist Rocío Wabizasui has been developing his latest video dance project at the Convent de Sant Agustí civic center. This Friday, the artist will open the doors to his creative process; come and learn about her concerns, motivations, and discover first hand what has kept her busy.

INVISIBLE is a piece of experimental video dance and audiovisual installation that investigates the border between what is perceptible and imperceptible, placing the human body in minimal liminal spaces where light reaches scarce and raw.
The project is conceived as a multidisciplinary worldview that deeply connects performance, human presence and the natural world through an indissoluble dialogue between live physical action and the videographic textures of architecture.

The Artist:
Rocío WabizasuiHis path began in classical ballet and contemporary dance. At twenty-five years old, Japanese dance connected its flesh with its roots, taking it through Spain, Japan, France, Germany and Thailand.
As a psychologist and dance therapy teacher, she understands dance as a surgery of the unconscious. Video editing and painting extend his vision of capturing the invisible. Since 2008, he directs the Minimum Festival and Haru Project, sharing pieces in dance and video festivals in Mexico, New York, Japan, France and Ukraine.
