If you have a camera or any electronic device with a camera and want to send us your view of the neighborhood’s Festa Major, participate in the photography contest that this year comes to the 5th edition!
How do I participate?
Present up to one maximum of 3 original photographs, per author (1 photograph per category)with a title and the category for which it is presented (e.g. photoname_category 1. jpg).
Send them in an attached digital file (in .jpg or .tif format) or by wetransfer to email fotofestamajor@conventagusti.com, indicating your first and last name, age, address and postal code, telephone number and an email.
When can I present them?
From June 19 to July 2, 2026

Considerations to take into account
The photographs must be taken at any event of the Old Town Festival of 2026. Any photographs received that are of other festivals or neighborhoods will be excluded from the competition.
The participants will be responsible for being the sole authors of the material submitted, of the rights to third parties, as well as of any possible claim for image rights on the works submitted to the competition.
Images must be original works, which do not infringe the rights of reproduction or any other rights of third parties and which do not contain any obscene, sexually explicit, violent, offensive, inflammatory or defamatory content. The organization may reject photographs and messages that do not comply with these characteristics or that may be offensive to people, entities or institutions, and is exonerated from any responsibility regarding possible breaches by contestants in terms of intellectual, industrial or image property rights.
The images must have the authorization of the people who may appear in them. In the case of images where minors appear, the contestant must have the consent of the legal guardians to publish them. Under no circumstances will the organization assume this responsibility, nor the consequences that may arise from it.
Each contestant can only get one prize from the 3 categories.
The prizes will be awarded on the day of the opening of the exhibition and must be collected by the winners of each category or by the person they assign. Otherwise, the prize will be awarded to the finalist photo with the highest score.
The participating people will transfer to the Center Cívic Convent de Sant Agustí, the Coordinator of the Festa Major del Casc Antic and the Barcelona City Council the rights of reproduction and public communication of their works with the purpose of spreading the Festa Major del Casc Antic, which will state the authorship of the reproduced photograph.
The civic center undertakes to process the personal data of the contestants only for the communication of the contest itself. After two months, all personal data will be deleted.
Participation in this contest implies acceptance of its rules.
When will I know the results?
tuesday On July 7, the civic center will contact the winners.
The prizes will be provided with gift vouchers from the cultural facilities and collaborating businesses, which make up the jury.
And then?
The winning and finalist photographs will be exhibited at the Civic Center Convent de Sant Agustí and will be published on the Instagram of the Festa Major de Casc Antic @fm_cascantic and that of the civic center.
The opening of the exhibition and the awarding of prizes will be Thursday, July 9 at 6.30 pm in the hall on the 2nd floor of the Pl building. academy We are waiting for you there!
