Estrelles zombis degenerades: un passeig pel cementiri estel·lar

Wednesday, May 6, at 7 p.m

When the interior of a star runs out of nuclear fuel, it stops being able to generate energy and we say that the star has “died”. However, the death of a star is neither unique nor final… In this talk, we will travel to these strange stellar objects, understand their origin from quantum physics and talk about the astronomical observations that have confirmed the existence of these real stellar zombies!
