com el cinema, els videojocs i la imaginació inspiren la ciència real – Centre Cívic Guinardó
April 29, at 7 p.m
For decades, science fiction has imagined worlds, technologies and advances that today are beginning to become part of real science. In this talk, we will explore how film, series and video games not only reflect science, but also inspire vocations, questions and new ways of research. Through well-known examples from popular culture, we will connect fiction with real advances in biomedicine, engineering and materials science, showing how imagination can be a very powerful educational and outreach tool.
