We strengthen the Social and Solidarity Economy 2026!
The Barcelona City Council opens the tenth call for subsidies 2026 within the Program for the strengthening of the Social and Solidarity Economy and for mutual cooperation, within the framework of the #ESSBCN2030 Strategy. This call has a total budget of €900,000.
The application period starts today, March 2, and ends on March 31, with the possibility of obtaining up to 80% of the total cost of the project, with maximum amounts depending on the modality.
The call has two areas:
- Area A: strengthening SSE companies and organizations.
- Area B: promotion of inter-cooperation within the #ESSBCN2030 Strategy.
Projects can include initiatives for creation, consolidation, digitization and inter-cooperation within the Social and Solidarity Economy.
The call is structured in different ways according to the needs of the sector:
Area A – Strengthening SSE companies and organizations
- Ah: Creation of new cooperatives and transformation of other pre-existing legal forms into cooperatives.
- From: Business consolidation and scalability actions to strengthen economic viability.
- Ac: Implementation of digitization processes to strengthen SSE companies and organizations.
Area B – Inter-cooperation in the framework of #ESSBCN2030
- Ba: 2nd and higher level inter-cooperation, promoted by SSE organizations or ethical finance, with impact on partner organisations.
- BB: Inter-cooperation actions to create or strengthen cooperative ecosystems or SSE clusters.
- Bc: Significant inter-cooperation projects for the development of the #ESSBCN2030 City Projects.
