Andrea Gibson was a poet and artist of spoken wordrecognized for its commitment to social justice, feminism, LGTBIAQ+ rights and mental health. His work, full of emotion and vulnerability, has inspired thousands of people around the world. Before she died of cancer in July 2025, filmmaker Ryan White portrayed, for a year, the way Andrea lived with the disease. The result is the documentary Come see me in the good lightwhich portrays Andrea’s relationship with her partner, fellow poet Megan Falley.
Adriana Bertran (Barcelona, 1985) is one of the benchmarks of European stage poetry. She was champion of Spain and runner-up of Europe Poetry Slam in 2018, and winner of the V International Cyprus Championship in 2022, among others. His poems have been translated into English, French, German, Italian, Greek and Estonian, as well as printed in Braille.
