The monographic project “Antoni Tàpies. The perpetual movement of the wall” will consist of an exploration of the artist’s work based on its contexts and modes of exhibition. Continuing the research started in the exhibition “Antoni Tàpies. The imagination of the world”, the new project goes into the 1950s with the intention of offering new perspectives on a moment of important transformations in the artist’s practice. The tour will take as objects of study four individual exhibitions that Antoni Tàpies made during this decade, each with very different groups of work and also with different assembly solutions.
