The shadow of Pinocchio

Synopsis This is a show for family audiences that combines puppets, marionettes and Chinese shadows on the same stage. It is a representation of the classic The Adventures of Pinocchio, but narrated directly for the protagonist, Pinocchio. Set at the beginning of the s. XX, Pinocchio, who was born from the pen of Carlo Collodi in 1883, is now a grown man. In the atmosphere of the 2nd Industrial Revolution, a time of great inventions such as: the electric light bulb, the gramophone or the telephone, the protagonist tells his story as he remembers it. The delicacy of the shadows is supported by a “puppet” language, direct and fun, designed to excite everyone, young and old.
