Five women, neighbors of the outskirts of Seville, star in this documentary that vindicates the collective memory and the invisible force that has sustained the cities. Stories of struggle, care and resistance in neighborhoods designed without taking them into account, but transformed thanks to them. A look from feminism and urbanism to understand fifty years of social change through the voices that have been silenced for too long.

Reyes Gallegos, urban planner, photographer and PhD in architecture, makes her film debut with this project born from her fieldwork in the neighborhoods of Seville. Author of the photographic series #ellasenlaciudad and coordinator of the “La ciudad viva” project, she provides a critical and poetic look at the relationship between urban space and inequality. In collaboration with Rafael Cobos, Gallegos signs one prime work which combines activism, memory and documentary cinema.
