Exhibition “My Own Private Garden”

“Art as a non-functional game is a form of resistance. Using my mobile phone as a tool, I have immersed myself in the world of flowers, to communicate with them, feel them, touch them, explore their shapes, textures, colors, melting between stamens, petals and pistils to inhabit them from a different, intimate look. Altering its shape, color, focus, I wanted to break with automatic vision and interrupt the accelerated visual flow imposed by networks and the market“.

“I stopped to look again, to pay attention, to create another relationship with the most powerful and at the same time fragile manifestation of nature. With this reinterpretation I have sought to reconnect with the immediate beauty that surrounds us, transforming it into “My Own Private Garden“.
