The Fair of Responsible Consumption and ESS returns for Christmas
These holidays, the already traditional Fair of Responsible Consumption and Social and Solidarity Economy comes to his eleventh edition. The City Council vol thus giving visibility to the projects that throughout the year they work around values of responsible and ethical consumptionthus encouraging a proximity economy and human scale.
The Fair will be located, as every year, in Plaça Catalunya in the Catalan capital from Friday 19 to Tuesday 30 Decemberfrom from 11 in the morning until half past nine in the eveningwith the exception of Friday the 19th, which will open at 4 pm. The Fair will not be open on Christmas Day or Saint Stephen’s Day, and on Wednesday 24 it will close at 6 pm.
In the last edition, around sixty organizations participated that offered craft products, textile clothing, packaged food and cosmetics and toys, as well as family awareness activities. The staging of the Fair aims to promote a different consumption during the Christmas festivities in which consumption is skyrocketing. It’s also a good time to learn about the initiatives of the ESS of Barcelona and see the diversity of products and services they offer and which you can enjoy not only during Christmas, but all year round.
As in the last editions, in addition to the stalls of products and services, the City Council has also scheduled a series of sessions, workshops, talks and performances linked to the field of ESS.
