26è Relats en Femení – Centre Cívic Sagrada Família

Call for short stories
From December 1, 2025 to January 25, 2026

We still remember with emotion the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Short Stories Award – Women’s Stories, an Award that is one of the signs of identity of the Civic Center and the Sagrada Família Library–Josep M. Ainaud de Lasarte. After such an important milestone, the challenge is to continue growing and improving to add new voices, new stories, new pages full of literature created by women.

This is the objective that leads us to open the call for the 26th edition of the Award. So we invite all women from 14 years to participate in this literary award, with a free theme, presenting their writings in Catalan or Spanish, according to the category:

• Young (14–17 years old)
• Adult (18+ years)

Both categories have free theme and they can present themselves in any narrative genre (science fiction, drama, humor, romance, etc.)always with theuse of non-sexist language and non-stereotypical treatment of gender roles.

The winners will receive a prize of €300 and their stories will be published in digital format.
