11/12 – 7 p.m. Opening: MY NEIGHBORHOOD? A project of the Taula Jove del Gòtic
From December 11 to January 13.
In charge of the young people of Kan60lab, Fundació l’Esperança, Palau Alòs, Gabella and Gothic Strip.
This exhibition is the result of a collective journey made by the young people of the neighborhood, who have gone out into the street with a camera and a curious gaze to discover what makes a place house. Through their photographs, they show us the spaces, people and moments that bring life to their immediate surroundings.
Each image is a story: a portal where there is always someone saying hello, a square that becomes a meeting point, a wall full of colors that speaks of freedom or a friendly look that conveys belonging. They are fragments of a shared landscape that reveal how they see, feel and live in their neighborhood.
My neighborhood? is also an open question. An invitation to reflect on identity, memory and the transformation of a space that belongs to everyone and no one at the same time. Young people invite us to look with different eyes at what often goes unnoticed and to recognize the beauty that is hidden in everyday life.
This show, hosted by Pati Limona Civic Centrewants to give a voice to the new generations and highlight their way of looking at the world: sincere, curious and full of life.
Organized by: Taula Jove del Gòtic.
Room: Yellow Space
