a day to reflect on adolescent well-being – Athenaeum
Last Thursday, November 13, the Molí Fariner de Martorell hosted the day “Psychosocial approach to adolescent mental health: a preventive and community perspective”as part of Actua SCCL’s 20th anniversary. The event brought together professionals and projects that work from close proximity to improve the emotional well-being of teenagers in the territory.
The day began with the institutional welcome and a presentation by Roger Ballescà, psychologist expert in child and youth mental health, who offered an integrative view on prevention and community work. A round table was then held with three inspiring initiatives: Aplaer, Psicoopera and the SAP Youth service of Sant Joan Despí, which shared tools and experiences to take care of youth mental health from cooperative, community and transformative models.
With this meeting, Actua reaffirms its commitment to emotional health and collective work in the Baix Llobregat, while celebrating two decades of cooperative history.
