11/12 – 7 p.m. Opening: FRESH MEAT – Young Hungarian Photographers

From December 11 to January 19.

Curated by Szilvia Mucsy and Rita Somosi, the exhibition presents works by Borbála Bethlendi, Bence Fazakas, Anna Forgách, Anita Horváth, Rita Kovalovszki, Martin Somogyi and Laura Wilhelm.

The exhibition is based on the annual Budapest Photo Festival call, aimed at Hungarian photographers under the age of 35. There is no restriction regarding the photo genre; the show focuses on series and portfolios that address issues relevant to today’s young generation of photographers, regardless of subject matter or approach. The curators valued originality and unconventional perspectives, both in terms of content and concept. The seven selected people have the opportunity to participate in a group exhibition which is one of the highlights of the Budapest Photo Festival program.

This exhibition at Galeria Golfes is possible thanks to the collaboration between the International Photography Festivals Association (IPFA) and the Budapest Photo Festival (Hungary).
