“La Balsa” embraces the question of belonging to the family space by combining layers of memory from several generations. Starting from the photographic archives of the artist’s two grandmothers, the project traces real family experiences, felt or fictional, with a special link to Turó de la Peira, where part of the family migrated from Andalusia. Oscillating between photography and installation, the project wants to show the instability and ambivalence of memory, moving away from the idea of ​​pure memory.
