Display "Espigolar to transform"

The Espigolar to Transformed Exhibition, an initiative of the Espigoladores and Palau Robert Foundation, which is supported by the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Barcelona City Council and the collaboration of Fujifilm, aims to promote awareness and action towards the prevention of losses and food waste, especially in primary production, emphasizing the practice of the pivotal role and the key role of the peasantry. It was curated by the interdisciplinary designer Virginia Angulo. It is an experiential, sensory and symbolic exhibition that moves away from traditional information logic and proposes a visual and immersive story about the problem of food losses in the countryside, based on the breakwater as a transformative, poetic, political and collective act.
