Exhibition “El Ciervo. 75 years of free thought and culture”

The exhibition commemorates 75 years of El Ciervo, Magazine of Thought and Culture founded in Barcelona the 1951 that has been, from the beginning, a space of freedom, debate and reflector Born in the midst of Franco, the Ciervo paved the way with its own voice, independent and committed to values ​​such as dialogue, justice, freedom of expression and democracy. Throughout the decades, the Ciervo has welcomed voices from various fields and ideologies, building a open and plural community around culture, politics, science, religion and great human issues.

The exhibition travels, in three spaces and five major axes, the key moments of its trajectory, and highlights the documentary heritage that it has accumulated for 75 years. The Ciervo defines itself as “a rested way of looking at the world with a critical spirit without across and with the desire to understand others.”
