Magí Ribot i Manso (1995-2023) was a young artist, trained at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Barcelona, who preferentially developed the artistic practices of actions, performances and socio-cultural and ecological activism. His end -of -grade work was about “Inhabit the art“Where he analyzed as an artistic reference the figure of Joseph Beuys.

As he wrote, Magí Ribot uses the video as a dynamic and spontaneous medium, which allows him to record the living and fleeting spirit of the situations he causes.
He found with travel an inner search that allowed him to reconcile his creative attitude with life and spiritual experience.
According to the principle Art = Life, he focused his artistic work in enabling encounters, generating bonds and living experiences.
In this session we will present a selection of his videos made between 2016 and 2018, a compilation that includes videoactions, videoart and actions documents taken on some of his trips.
We will have the presence of their parents,Domènec RibotandNúria Manso.
