Program

The Barcelona and National Symphony Orchestra of Catalonia again offers all the citizens a free concert On the occasion of the Fiestas de la Mercè. Directed by Diego Martin-Etxebarria, this year it proposes a program full of vibrant and colorful pieces that will make us travel from the distant Finlandfrom Sibelius, to the exulting virtuosity of the Spanish whimby Rimski-Korsakov. We will also evoke traditional Hungarian music with the fast -paced Galanta dancesby Kodály, and we will delve into the mystery ofOne night in the peeled mountainby Mussorgski. As a prelude, a delicious Early morningthat Vilanova Leonora Milà, a girl prodigy of the piano, wrote in 1948, when she was only 6 years old.
