The montage proposes an emotionally complex reading of the triangle between Christine, Raoul and the Ghost. For San Martín, this is one of the keys to the validity of the story: “ The musical tells us how society gives its back to the one who comes out of the aesthetic canons. There is also a constant negotiation between as far as you empathize with your oppressor and where you put the limit to preserve your own dignity. ” For the actress and singer, getting in Christine is much more than a professional milestone: “ For me, playing the role of Christine is a dream, an illusion, a gift. It is also a responsibility, but I am more with the joy of being able to do it after yearning for almost all my life, ” he says. San Martín emphasizes the vocal and physical requirement of a role that calls for a total delivery: “ The most difficult to interpret it is the mix of techniques that you have to master. Use lyric and modern techniques, and jumps from one to the other without being noticed. It is vocally very demanding, emotionally also, and you have to know how to dance ballet. It is a very complete combo. ”
