It Pablo Casals Festival It will be the scene on Thursday, August 7, the premiere of a piece of the Catalan composer Ariadna Alsina in the church of Vilafranca de Conflent. This work is an order from theFlashback 66a reference body in the programming and residences of contemporary music in Occitania.
This order has received the support of the Institut Ramon Llull through the line of subsidy for international programming, which has as one of its objectives the external diffusion of Catalan creation in the professional circuit through composition and interpretation in the fields of classical and contemporary music.
The concert program is completed by pieces of Jesper northin (Calm Like a bomb); Alexander Vert & José Miguel Fernandez (Double Jeu) and Michèle Tosi (Double Violin). All of them will be performed by the violinist and director Diego Tosi.
Ariadna Alsina studied the Higher Degree in Violin at the Conservatory of the Liceu in Barcelona, and sonology and composition with technologies at the ESMUC and the Sibelius Academy of Helsinki, continued to be trained in instrumental and electroacoustic composition in Paris and Geneva. His music has been performed at contemporary music festivals in Europe, the United States and Latin America.
