It Muqawama (Resistance) It is a musical project of rap fusion born five years ago in Palma, formed by musicians of Algeria and Mallorca. With the aim of building cultural bridges between the two shores of the Mediterranean, its sound is a vibrant mix of rap, funk, hip hop, jazz, traditional Mediterranean music and Gnawa. They sing in Arabic, Amazigh, Spanish, English and Mallorcan. It is leading the Rabah Ourrad group, a pioneer in North African rap, active in the 1990’s and early 2000’s.
