Omi art, Located Near Ghent in the State of New York, you have operated as a residence since 1992 and offers five distinct residence programmes, one for each discipline: writing, music, dance, art, and architecture.
During Their Stay, Ten Artists Live Toogether at the Residency and Take Part in Community Activities, Fostering the Spirit of Exchange That Characterises Art Omi. The Program included in Weekly Itinerary of Visits with New York’s Publishing Community, Providing Opportunyies to Connect With Editors, Agents, and Literary Scouts.

This Call is part of a New Line of In-Kind and Non-Competive Grands For Undertaking International Residences at Centers with Which the Institut Ramon Llull You have Collaboration AGREMENT. Thanks to thisgrement, Artists and Authors from the Catalan Artistic and Cultural Sphere Can Take Part in Strategic Residences Across All Disciplines. The in-Kind Grant Covers Accommodation, Board, and the Organization of the Residency. Calls have already been published for participation at château de lavigny, Casamia, and LCB.

- Cover Letter in English.
- Description of the Project to Be undertaken During the residence, Written in English and of Between 3 and 5 farmers.
- Exertpt From to Published or UnpublISHED WORK (in Catalan and translated into English), Between 5 and 10 farming.
- List of Publications and CV in English.
To Jury of Representatives from Art Omi Will Select the Residents Based on the Following Criteria:
- Applicants must have originally published in Catalan Under their sole author, in one of the following genres: fiction, poetry, theater, non-fiction, and children’s or adult literature.
- The Rellevance of the Project to the Host Institution’s Lines of Activity. Considering Will Be Given To How the project Aligns with the residence Center’s Creative Priorities, Linguistic Fluancy, Ability to Integrated With Other Residents, Willingness to Exchange and Interact With Fellow residents and Guests, and Reading to Participate in Post-Residency Activities.
- The relevance, Interest, and Quality of the Proposal Project. Evaluation Will Consider the Strength and Feasibility of the project, The Themes Addressed, and the Quality of the Writing.
- The application is TRACK Record or Experience. Considering Will Be Given to Previous Publications, Education, and Year Accolades Received.
