All deadlines are now open for submitting applications to participate in the residences with which the Institut Ramon Llull has a collaboration agreement.
The residences with which we have established collaboration agreements are:
Omi It is a non -profit organization located in a rural environment near the population of Ghent, in the state of New York. Dedicated to artistic residence management with the aim of promoting the creative and cultural exchange of international residents of various disciplines, the Omi Art Writing Residence hosts writers and translators of all literary genres.

Literary Colloquium Berlin, Located near Lake Wannsee, in Berlin, Germany, it is a literary residence that houses writers, translators and publishers from around the world. The literary institution organizes readings, seminars, literary meetings, and promotes exchange and interaction with foreign institutions, thus guaranteeing a continuous and rich dissemination of literature beyond linguistic borders.

Casamia It is a traveling musical residence in the meat region, in the Friul-Venance Júlia, Italy. It works on a traveling way in the region, has a strong root in the territory and promotes the interaction of the participants with the inhabitants of the villages that host them. At the end of each residence the artists offer a concert for the local community.

Château de Lavigny It houses the International Writers’ Residence in Lavigny, Switzerland, managed by the Fondation Heinrich Maria & Jane Ledig-Rwohlt. The building was dated to the 19th century, built in the fortress where there was a castle before. At each stay there are a maximum of 6 writers, translators or screenwriters, each with their private work space.
The call closed on May 26. The selected writer is Mònica Batet Boada.
All applications must be made following the instructions established on the website of each residence center.
These calls occur in the frame of the new grant line In kind and non -competitive concurrence to carry out international residences. Thanks to the agreements, artists and authors of the Catalan artistic and cultural field, they will be able to participate in strategic residences in all disciplines. The expenses covered by the in -kind subsidy are the accommodation, the maintenance and the organization of the residence.
